About choosing aviation, Santos says “Initially, I wanted to be in the medical field but only because that was culturally expected of me. I was constantly torn between doing what was expected and what I loved doing. If you love what you do, you'll never have to work a day in your life. So, that's why I pursued engineering and aviation.
