Janice Lao does amazing work to help our environment. She helps hotels be environmentally friendly by reducing their ecological footprint. The ecological footprint is the impact the hotel has on the environment. Imagine a hotel. Think about how much space it takes up. Think about the amount of trash produced, water used and number of light switches on and off. Lao helps hotels decrease their energy use, save space and be environmentally friendly.
Ms. Lao wrote a book with her daughter, Esther, “Benny & Sparky’s Big Home Mystery,” that introduces climate change to kids through the journeys of two narwhals.
